Are there things you can do to speed up the process?
http://www.gatejumper.net/questions/18/how-long-does-it-take-for-google-to-index-a-new-site/19#19 Answer by Shaun for How long does it take for Google to index a new site? Shaun 2009-10-30T14:29:40Z 2009-10-30T14:29:40Z
In my experience the best way to get indexed quickly is to get links from popular sites. It's not uncommon for at least a homepage to be indexed in a matter of hours or even less with links from an established site. For a full crawl it can sometimes take a few days or longer for much larger sites.
http://www.gatejumper.net/questions/18/how-long-does-it-take-for-google-to-index-a-new-site/30#30 Answer by Rob for How long does it take for Google to index a new site? But one thing nobody has mentioned yet: Make sure you have sufficient interesting and unique content. Even if the Google bot visits your page – whether because you submitted your URL the usual way, or your sitemap via Webmaster Tools, or because it came across a link to your site elsewhere – if it finds very little of value at your site it may simply choose to not include you in the index. I've read that Google likes content it hasn't seen before.
http://www.gatejumper.net/questions/18/how-long-does-it-take-for-google-to-index-a-new-site/302#302 Answer by Harry for How long does it take for Google to index a new site?
