http://www.gatejumper.net/questions/289/what-are-the-pros-and-cons-of-affiliate-marketing-versus-mlmWhat are the pros and cons of Affiliate Marketing versus MLM?Work At Home Income2010-01-19T05:23:05Z2010-07-20T11:23:25Z

When deciding which way to go for your online endeavors, Affiliate Marketing takes the front row for a more streamlined and efficient way to earn an income. While MLM is slower to grow, long term it can have many more advantages over Affiliate sites.

Now with this in mind, what avenue would you take and why?

I personally am doing both, multiple streams of income has always been my motto. I put all my eggs in one basket only one time, lesson learned.

http://www.gatejumper.net/questions/254/flipping-websites-for-profitFlipping websites for profitJuha Liikala2009-12-28T09:16:32Z2010-04-27T14:14:12Z

Website flipping can be described as the process of buying, improving and selling a website for profit. You buy and sell a site that you believe:

has some untapped potential (that can be monetized)

is a site you can put more value into

has already some existing and targeted client base

Has any of you experience in this kind of flipping? Have you made a sustainable profit by doing this? I've heard quite many online "urban legends" about people who make fortunes doing this, but I haven't yet met anyone of them in person.

As a part of expanding my business, I'm planning to offer a couple of online classes in the next year. I've been looking at a couple of different options for the infrastructure — setting up a special mailing list, using a forum — but I'm not seeing exactly what I want. What do those of you who run classes use to communicate with students while still keeping the information private?

http://www.gatejumper.net/questions/146/display-advertising-vs-affiliate-marketing-vs-direct-sales-for-individual-entreDisplay advertising vs. affiliate marketing vs. direct sales for individual entrepreneursJenny2009-11-13T19:17:45Z2009-11-15T17:14:38Z

For an individual entrepreneur (solopreneur) who is trying to make a living online, which monetization method is most likely to be successful, display advertising, affiliate marketing or direct sales?

Here's what I mean by each:

Display advertising - putting adsense or banners on your site that pay you on a CPC (cost per click) or CPM (cost per impression) basis

Affiliate advertising - selling products made by other people/companies on your site, either through banners or contextual placement and being compensated on a CPA (cost per sale) basis

Direct sales - creating a product of your own (information product, subscription, physical good or whatever) and selling it directly through your site

Are all three of these viable for making a living online? Is any one of them more likely to be successful?

I've been blogging for about six months now. My blog is about personal development (how to live a fuller life). I have made a grand total of maybe $200 from the blog so far. I want to be a full-time blogger within the next 6-12 months.

I work my ass off blogging and really love it. I'm willing to put in 30 hours a week (after work + on weekends) to make it happen.

Am I crazy? Is this possible?
