When deciding which way to go for your online endeavors, Affiliate Marketing takes the front row for a more streamlined and efficient way to earn an income. While MLM is slower to grow, long term it can have many more advantages over Affiliate sites.

Now with this in mind, what avenue would you take and why?

I personally am doing both, multiple streams of income has always been my motto. I put all my eggs in one basket only one time, lesson learned.

I'd pursue an affiliate arrangement over MLM.

If you have a product worth selling, I'd first try to sell it myself, then enlist others to sell it for me. If you can sell it yourself, you keep it all, but paying some superstar affiliates 50% to sell dozens or hundreds of copies for you isn't bad, either.

MLM, I don't know. I'm a little down on MLM. Seems like it creates a whole bunch of salespeople just trying to build up their downlines and removes some of the focus away from your product. Plus, Paypal (at least) doesn't allow payments through more than one level. I've heard of entire accounts closed down because of this.

But there's my 2 cents. ;)

I can certainly understand your being down on MLM, my focus is the product, I use it, I sell it and the down line grows slowly but it is growing. But because I have other streams of income it truly does not matter how slow it grows. – Work At Home Income Jan 19 at 11:29
